I’m Liz, and while I work as a data analyst in the healthcare field during the day, my passion for learning as much as possible about health, nutrition and fitness gets me fired up like nothing else. That passion fuels each and every post on this blog, from a recipe for roasted romanesco, to why I think we need to cool it with the water-guzzling recommendations that we’re constantly being served. Seriously, these are the things I lay in bed thinking about at night.
You should know that I’m a food lover, and I’ve never been one to choke back plates of chicken breast and steamed broccoli because it was considered healthy. I create recipes that taste awesome, are based on real, whole foods, and that just happen to be really good for you too. My nutrition and fitness outlook is all about keeping it simple. I don’t spend hours upon hours in the gym, and I hate cardio, so treadmills are usually off limits for me. I’ve been able to find what nutrition and fitness strategies work for me, and I’m here to share them with you so you can stop feeling like this whole healthy lifestyle thing is a huge burden. In reality, once you find your “why”, living a healthy life isn’t just easy, it’s pretty damn fun!
